Camping Guide
Pack 247 typically organizes Fall, Spring , & Summer Campouts, plus a Winter “Camp-in.”
Camping trips are a great time to spend with your cub or even the whole family. It’s also a great way to meet and socialize with families in other dens. If you’re new to camping, it can be a lot to consider. There will be plenty of helpful pack members to help you get set-up if needed. Getting started camping can be an investment. Ask friends, family, fellow pack members if they have spare equipment to borrow.
Campout Packing List
Here's a traditional camping pack list. If you don’t have these things, don’t let that stop you. Many items are available at ScoutShop.org. And as we said before, Cub Scouts are helpful, kind and thrifty, so ask around and see what can be borrowed!
